I have been a keen woodworker ever since school days when I was fascinated by how each piece of timber had its own unique grain and texture. Now retired, I wish to share my passion of wood  and more recently elegent time pieces with you.

Perhaps it's the onset of years but it saddens me to see perfectly good wood (i.e. furniture) being sent to the skip just because it's not in "vogue". The same applies to modern "throw away stuff", surely these unloved items can be given a new lease of life by upcycling, renovating or re-using the materials to create something new. An early example of this was an Ikea plastic topped stool with steel tubular legs - the solution was to turn the plastic seat top into wall clocks and re-top the stool legs using 1940's oak table tops (20+ sold to cafes' and schools).
Although I still use some "fresh" timber it is now my 2nd choice material and I always ensure my suppliers are using sustainable / storm damaged wood.
My wife is still working full time but she has also caught the "craft bug" and is now producing lovely handmade fabric items such as Tote bags, vanity bags, Christmas decorations and book covers that we now share with you on our shop.
We have sold items on Etsy, Facebook and Ebay with 100% feedback for some years but now wish to sell directly to people with the same appreciation of "things different".
